Reconstruction of lighting of border crossing in Croatia

Croatia is known almost for everybody as holiday destination. For company IMAO, besides its other acctivities, this country means space for realisation of interesting projects.
This country has neighbours: Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Croatia has decided to reconstrate the border crossing lighting, there are up to 154 border crossing in total.
Company IMAO participated in a tender for the design and realization of the reconstruction of the lighting of the aforementioned border crossings. On February 21, 2019, we launched the first realized project in the trial operation, namely the border crossing between Croatia and Slovenia, in the north part of the country called Dubrava - Križovljanska.
In the first stage of the project, 42 light points were replaced in two directions. The second step is the replacement of lighting of adjacent spaces, parking lots and handling areas.
The exchange of the next 3 border crossing is scheduled at the beginning of March. According to the customer's order, all 154 border crossings will be reconstructed by 2021.
